Petworth Farmer’s Market – November
We were at Petworth Farmer’s Market yesterday – thank you to all who supported us.
We were at Petworth Farmer’s Market yesterday – thank you to all who supported us.
We’ve been getting ready for the Farmer’s Market this month and then the Petworth Christmas Fair on the 1st Saturday in December.
We expected to be able to work outside by now too, but the sun hasn’t appeared yet. However, we’re still getting solar power for the kettle (and the tools)…
Plant label plaques, bughouses, and apparently the hair that we will use for a nest in the dormice box makes a great toupe for Richard…
Wellie boot removers, pyrography, Petworth Craft group, bird table commission, Dormice box and a Doctorate in Health Research for West Sussex County Council Public Health and Social Research Unit…
H has been busy whilst we’ve been away, as can be seen by this little masterpiece, but we are happy to have the chance to work together again.
We are delighted to announce that Sussex Community Foundation is now supporting Petworth Men’s Shed, and the project will be able to open again on Wednesday 13th December 2017 from 10am-2pm.
I am very sorry to say that Dave, a member of the Men’s Shed, died unexpectedly at his home last Friday. He will be missed very much.
As well as our usual work this month we had a good sort out of all toolboxes, screws and nails – thanks in particular to Damian for this.
We had a visit from representatives of St Magnus yesterday (Director of Therapies) to see if they can run something similar in Haslemere.
