After years of sanding everything by hand we’ve bought ourselves a sanding belt, and it’s fantastic.

We’ve started to resist the urge to sand everything in sight now, but for a while everything that could possibly be in need of a sand underwent “machine time”.

Now we’re a bit more judicious in our choices – it’s still good to use a bit of elbow power at times.
